Green Monster Day #1!
Inspired by Chelsea at RunTheLine and recipes taken from the Green Monster Movement Blog… I’ve officially tried my first green monster! I’m not even finished with it yet and I can already tell I’m hooked. Here’s my recipe for today:
- 1.5 Tbsp Flax
- 2 Large handfuls Spinach
- 1 Banana
- 1 cup Almond milk
- 2 Tbsp Peanut butter
- 1 Handful Ice
First of all - you can’t taste the spinach at all. This tastes like my signature peanut butter-banana smoothie, only it’s chocked full of the nutrients spinach gives you! I’m halfway through and feeling kind of full, which is also a good sign. I’ll give you the full review later!
