Day one
of being vegetarian AND choice-conscious? SUCCESS.
I feel amazing after today. This is the first real perfect eating day I’ve had in a long time - and to top it all off, I didn’t feel hungry at all. I felt satisfied and energized all day long! I defeated my cravings and successfully avoided meat! So in honor of this, I’ve got some meal choices I’m actually proud to show you guys.
- Green monster smoothie (Breakfast)
- Handful of baby carrots (Snack)
- Awesome 10 veggie sandwich (Lunch)
- Odwalla BerriesGo-mega Smoothie + 4 asparagus stalks (Dinner)
- 1/2 of a biscuit with 3/4 cup strawberries (Snack)
Right?! I’m so excited about how nicely today went. So excited, in fact, that I’ve actually somewhat forgotten about how completely stressed out I am about the million things I have to get done before the semester ends AND the huge exam I haven’t studied for that I have tomorrow… whoops.
At least I’m getting something right! (I just gave myself a high five, fyi.)
